Barely Breathing

Gloomy trees all around
Overwhelming darkness surround
How deafening is the sound
When melancholy seals the mouth

A brink of light is barely glowing
Like autumn leaves slowly falling
The earth is cracking
Every day in the morning

Tears falling like crystals
Fragile and easily shatters
Flowing from faces
Cloaked in vast sadness

Oh! Such a beauty the rose I found
Lucky I was and proud
How long its beauty can last
If the world turns so fast?

Here I am barely breathing
Holding my flower, fading
Hoping that soon once again
I’ll find a rose and start all over again.
